ANAM CARA was founded in 2025 by four women in New York, Cindy Hou, Isabella Qiao, Yuki Qiu, and Kaylee Zhao, who set out to reimagine traditional jade through a modern, soulful lens.

Every piece is designed in-house and hand-carved by Cindy's father, a master jade carver in China. She personally selects and evaluates each stone for its quality, texture, and energy, so that no two pieces are ever alike.

Today, our pieces can be seen and tried in person at Camellia NYC in Manhattan, a place to feel the weight, color, and warmth of each stone in your own hands.
